HONOLULU (KHON2) — Helping Keiki Cope is presented through a partnership between KHON2 and the Hawaii Department of Health’s Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division.
There’s no question the pandemic is having an impact on our kids, particularly with their stress and mental health.
A panel of health and community experts is helping parents and others learn tips to help kids navigate through these challenging feelings.
Participating in the panel are Dr. Lesley Slavin, Chief Psychologist for the Department of Health Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division, Melissa Harper-Osai with Child and Family Service, and Billie-Ann Bruce from Epic Ohana.
