Hawaii reports 539 COVID cases

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaii Department of Health reports 539 new coronavirus cases on Monday, Aug. 16.

There are 376 coronavirus cases on Oahu, 80 on the Big Island, 14 on Kauai, 49 on Maui, three on Molokai and 17 diagnosed out of state.

That brings the state total to 51,739.

The state death toll remains at 552.

The state stands at 61.2% of vaccinated residents.
