Hawaii reports 3,929 COVID cases

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaii Department of Health (DOH) reports 3,929 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, Jan. 19.

There are 3,026 coronavirus cases on Oahu, 240 on the Big Island, 198 on Kauai, 17 on Lanai, 397 on Maui, 20 on Molokai and 31 diagnosed out of state.

There were 399 hospitalized.

That brings the state total to 184,767.

The state death toll remains at 1,126.

The state stands at 75.3% of vaccinated residents.
