Hawaii reports 168 COVID cases, two deaths


HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Department of Health reports 168 coronavirus cases and two deaths for Saturday, Oct. 23.

There are 96 coronavirus cases on Oahu, 44 on the Big Island, nine on Kauai, 20 on Maui, one on Lanai and two were removed from the list of those that had been diagnosed out of state.

That brings the state total to 83,188.

The state death toll is now 885.

The state stands at 70.7% of vaccinated residents.
