Kaile Hunt

Kaile Hunt joined the KHON2 News team July 2021 as a digital reporter. She has been an on-air reporter since 2018 and says she knew she wanted to be a journalist since she was six years old.

Kaile is a proud Fresno State Alumni who graduated with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Philosophy Pre-Law. Kaile was very involved during her college years. She was part of the PanHellenic Sorority Phi Mu, ASI Senator of Arts and Humanities, and a Dog Days Orientation Leader.

After graduating from Fresno State, she started her career at a Nexstar affiliate station in Midland / Odessa, Texas. There she covered everything from ice storms, tornadoes, flooding and much more severe weather and breaking news.

Kaile then went to her college town of Fresno California to be a reporter / fill in weather forecaster at another Nexstar affiliate station KSEE24 / CBS 47. There she covered breaking news, California wildfires, education updates and much more.

In her free time, Kaile likes to go on walks with her black labradoodle Kahlua, try new local restaurants, and binge-watch shows on Netflix and Hulu.

If you have a news story or want to recommend a new eatery or show, send her an email!
