Hongwanji Mission School (HMS) in Nuuanu, will be hosting a "Going Green" Fair on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. on the HMS Campus.  Parking will be available at the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin.

Rene Mansho will be there to inform the public about her organization, Aloha Aina, and how they help to keep our island clean and beautiful by keeping a lot of our trash from going into our landfills.

"Green" organizations will be on hand to accept various recyclables including ink cartridges, cellular phones, computers and accessories, cooking oil, eye glasses, hearing aids and bottle caps.

Servco Pacific will display two of their hybrid cars and how they operate and save energy.

Students will have exhibits and games on recycling as well as food and refreshments for the whole family.

For more information on the event, or if you'd like to be a participating "green" company, please contact Wendy Harman at 532-0522 or by e-mail at harman001@hawaii.rr.com.
