Clinton Wins Pennsylvania Primary

By KHON News

Pennsylvania was a must-win for Clinton.

But, even with the victory, at this point, she remains 133 delegates behind Obama.

The question now is, with the math against her, will today’s win give

The general consensus was that Hillary Clinton needed a win in Pennsylvania to stay in the race and she got it.

"Some people counted me out and said to drop out. But the American people don't quit and they deserve a President who doesn't quit either," said Senator Hillary Clinton.

But analysts continue to debate whether Clinton won by a big enough margin since she trails Barack Obama in pledged delegates, the popular vote and the number of states won so far this primary season.

The Illinois Senator had set expectations low in Pennsylvania.

In fact, he left the state before polls even closed there so he could make an evening rally in the next battleground state in Indiana

"There were a lot a folks who didn't think we could make this a race when it started. ..."And now, six weeks later, we closed the gap. We rallied people of every age and race and background to the cause,” said Senator Barack Obama.

There was a Republican primary in Pennslyvania and not surprisingly, it went in John McCain's favor.

But he stayed neutral when asked if a drawn out democratic race benefits him.

"I've never said I want this election to stretch out or not. It's up to Democratic voters," said Senator John McCain.

Next up, Indiana and North Carolina hold contests in two weeks.

The primary season wraps up in June.
