The woman killed in an apparent murder-attempted suicide in Waikiki has been identified.
The Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as 33-year-old Tara Isnin of Honolulu.
On Monday, Isnin was found dead inside a 19th floor apartment at the Ala Wai Townhouse.
The medical examiner says she died of multiple gunshot wounds.
A 40-year-old man was found seriously injured.
Neighbors say they were a couple and some heard gunshots the day before.
The man remains in the hospital.
About 40 students got sick and 25 of them, along with two adults, were taken to the hospital. Officials are now taking a look at what they ate for lunch.
It may be the season of giving, but unlike years past, the giving spirit is in short supply this year. The Salvation Army says donations at its Red Kettles are down by nearly one-third and it's not alone.
An 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the death of an elderly man in Chinatown.
