A bill that would legalize same-sex marriage in Hawaii has cleared another hurdle.
On Tuesday, Senate Bill 1 passed a second reading.
The Senate will reconvene on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to take a final vote on the measure.
If it passes the full Senate vote, the bill will then head to the House Judiciary and Finance Committees, which has already scheduled its hearing to start on Thursday at 10 a.m.
