University of Hawaii football head coach Norm Chow is under fire after comments he made following the Rainbow Warriors' 47-to-10 loss to Utah State on Saturday.
"Norm Chow did tell us something pretty interesting this week in our discussion with a long-time veteran coach, sir intimating to us 'I'm not sure if I'm cut out for this head coaching thing,'" CBS Sports Network play-by-play announcer Dave Ryan said.
"I'm too old for this," Chow told reporters.
Chow now says his comments were tongue-in-cheek saying, "I'm not going to quit...ever."
Despite his commitment, things are not looking good for UH. The team is now 0--8.
It's the first time the team's been winless since 1998.
