UPDATE: Man charged with attempted murder in stabbing case

The man arrested for stabbing another man on Thursday night was charged Saturday night with attempted murder.

Patricio Aquino, 45, remains in custody unable to post $100,000 bail.

According to police he stabbed a man several times on Kaumualii street in Kalihi.

The victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition and has since improved.

Aquino is expected to make his first court appearance on Monday.

you are correct liberal man. i agree! if martial arts pros and boxers have to register their hands as deadly weapons, guns have to be registered. why not knives.. or at least a "length law" there is absolutley no reason a person should be walking the streets with a butcher knife!!@!

This just in. The State has mandated that you turn in all of your pencils as a proactive measure to control other possible dangerous weapon incidents.

Yet another stabbing case...when is the state going to start controling knives as dangerous weapons like they do guns? It is not safe out there.

According to the local prosecutor... even though he stabbed the back, he had been out numbered... use that as your defense...
