Tracy Kea got her marching orders from the boss.

"Getting prepared," she says.

Prepared for a possible emergency, like Hurricane Felicia, so the office has what it needs.  And some of those needs...

"We have batteries, and a weather band radio. Some masking tape, and some backup flash lights, and emergency booklets," says Kea, City Mill customer.

Frank Suster has worked at City Mill for 40 years, so he has plenty of disaster tips to offer, including one with your bathtub you may never have considered.

"So what you can do now is take a gallon of water from the bathtub and refill toilet tank and you can get at least twenty additional flushes over the next several days," says Suster.

That's to go with the standard advice you've probably already heard, but have maybe not heeded.

"Make sure you have a supply of water, flash lights, and batteries, you know the basics. And then of course food, always have at least three day supply of food," says Suster.

Good Advice for Any future disaster.  Unfortunately not everyone gets prepared well in advance. Something Suster saw first hand on September 11th, 1992.

"That's when Hurricane Iniki hit, and it was just chaos right to the end. Sold every single battery, every single flash light, propane, everything," says Suster.

He says, it's never too early to be prepared.
