With this year's elections fast approaching, the call for election day volunteers is getting louder.
The state needs about a thousand more people that are 16 by the end of the month.
You also have to be a registered voter.
What you'll be doing on election day depends on your job.
"There's a chairperson whose in charge of the polling place, there's a voting assistance official who assists the chairperson, and there are regular precinct officials that provide assistance to the voters," said Scott Nago, Chief Elections Officer.
A precinct official would get $85 for helping out.
There is an hour-and-a-half long training course for all volunteers.
