Laura Sheldon is a soon-to-be first time mom, model....and on Friday's she becomes an artist's muse.

"It's definitely an odd job, I do get some looks for it."

Sheldon bares it all as one of Hawaii's nude life-drawing models.

"I think whenever you first walk into a group you haven't met before it's kinda like everyone's worst nightmare- standing there nude, but after awhile you get used to it."

Sheldon first started posing for classes in Salt Lake City, Utah.  And into her pregnancy, she's become even more of an inspiration.

"It creates different shapes and it's just another part of the human body and it makes for beautiful art."

Art that the likes of Michelangelo, da Vinci, and Picasso have all tried to master.

"A lot of the these people can look of you and do an exact replica it's really amazing to see they have the skill to do that and you definitely see the human body in a different way."

She hopes her job can be seen differently too.

"I definitely think there's a misguided perception about it."

She says standing in the nude isn't the most awkward part...it's holding a pose, for minutes or hours at a time.

"The poses are just a matter of creativity and maybe whatever people ask you to do and and holding the poses are kinda difficult."

Classes at Windward Community college pay 18-dollars an hour for life-drawing models. Most who take the job are also artists, but not Sheldon.

"I can't draw, but like I said I do appreciate the art and I actually do buy a lot of the art I end up seeing."

For her being nude is no big deal, just another day at the office.

"You're treated like a model and you become really comfortable with everyone and I really enjoy it."

There aren't many people who can do what she does, but somebody's gotta do it. So, models like her are in high demand.

"I think it's really a great job, you can learn a lot and I appreciate the art they end up with."
