Police, fire crews, the swat team and canine dogs gathered early Wednesday near Pearl City High school.  A stark contrast to the search party Tuesday.

"They were out here on Monday not sure why they weren't out here on Tuesday," said Maj. Clayton Kau, Honolulu Police Department.

Police say there was a lack of available resources.  By day three they were out in full force.

"Definitely it's late, how long can a person survive you know," said Damyn Funai, search volunteer.

"I'm a little disappointed, but everyone is trying their best to find her," said Sharon Tamaru, Yoshida's sister.  "So, we're gonna keep on trying."

"The cops can only go so far with the helicopters," said Funai.

Volunteers joined friends and family searching trails and into the bushes.  Some family members took the advice from a psychic to look below Pearl City high school.

"The psychic said she feels the dog is not with her and our gut feeling is they are together so you don't know what to go on," said Lisa Kimura, Yoshida's niece.

"It's very trying until it happens to you and you never think it's gonna happen to you, it's very trying," said Tamaru.

With no clear clue of where Yoshida could have gone, family, friends and tons of volunteers searched below Pearl City High School, along with 100 or more students from the school.

The students and faculty organized a search party after school.  But after two hours of looking, there was no sign of Yoshida.

"We unfortunately didn't find anything but they did all that they could do," said teacher, Daphne Kajikawa.

Police have no new leads.  They will reassess whether to continue their efforts tomorrow morning.
