A Pennsylvania man is preparing to swim the treacherous Molokai Channel.

It's part of Darren Miller's "Ocean's Seven Challenge" to swim across seven of the world's most difficult channels.

He’s already completed the Catalina Channel and English Channel.

The Molokai Channel would be his third.

If the conditions are right, he plans to begin the 27-mile swim around 5 a.m. on Friday, October 21.

Miller is doing this to raise awareness for the "Forever Fund" to help families pay for infant heart surgery.

Just tell this guy to beware of the tiger sharks that lurk the Molokai channel! Hopefully a crew of people will be following this guy when he swims. Good luck to him and his swim adventure.
