Nominations being accepted for Outstanding Older American awards

LĪHU‘E – The Agency on Elderly Affairs is now accepting nominations for the 2012 Outstanding Male and Female Older American awards.

The program is designed to honor seniors age 65 and older that have made exceptional contributions to their community.

Nomination forms are available Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4 pm, at the Agency on Elderly Affairs located at the Līhu‘e Civic Center, Pi‘ikoi Building, Suite 330.

The deadline to submit a nomination is Friday, March 2.

All nominees will be honored at an awards ceremony in May, and the Outstanding Male and Female Older Americans will be announced at the event.
