Biking and walking along a heavily crossed road on Oahu's north shore will soon get easier.

Bulldozers marked areas where the new nearly mile and a half "Malaekahana Bike and Pedestrian Path" will lay.

"This is a partnership between the communities to keep people safe and off the highways and a healthy alternative," said Stephany Violeti of the Kahuku Community Association.

Organizers say the path will connect Laie and Kahuku along the mauka side of Kamehameha highway in Malaekahana.

It was so strange at this dedication of the "MALAEKAHANA Bike Path" this morning March 19, 2011.. Looked like all of Laie was there to Celebrate the (Envision Laie) Bike Path.. YOUNG PIGS WERE BEING, Huli Huli over open fires. AND: all the SAME photographers from H R I Taking Pictures of the SAME, Speculating, Bureaucratic People.. "Envision Laie" What these people of HRI really mean is not "Envision", it's an INVASION upon tranquil pasture, conservation land.. It's their sneaky way of misleading the public of their Encroachment into Malaekahana..AWE the nerve to claim an area that has NEVER BEEN a part of LAIE?? Juss because YOU H R I, got the contract through MUFI to build the bike path DOSE NOT mean that YOU H R I via the (Mormon Church, who you represent) HAVE The right to Call it the "LAIE Bike Path" MALAEKAHANA WILL ALWAYS BE PART OF KAHUKU " 96731 " and that bike bath belongs to the PUBLIC and NOT H R I! YOU THINK YOUR ALL SO SMART and DECEIVING? REMEMBER ALL YOUR BLESSINGS ARE ALWAYS DIRECTED FOR ASKING! BUT WHAT YOU H R I FAIL TO ACKNOWLEDGE IS, THAT THE LORD SEE'S & KNOWS ALL WHAT YOU DO & WHY YOUR DOING IT! AND: It Juss Takes Him Awhile To Get Around & Back To You.. Do good good comes back, do bad and Your gonna be the Looser.. Mark My Words! ALOHA & Stop The Greed! ~ MALAEKAHANA ~ ; )

Who are the organizers? What parties own this agricultural tract? Where does this path begin and end? Is this part of a future development in this area?
