Man found in critical condition after Waikiki beating

The incident happened just about 1:30am on Kaiolu street near Lewers.

A 22-year-old suspect was arrested shortly following the incident.

The victim, a 48-year-old man was taken by ambulance with severe head injuries. Police say he was struck several times in the head and face after an argument.

Police are investigating what happened.

Charges have not yet been filed.

These fights have been happening for a long time. Only difference is now people are using weapons to defend themselves more and more. After a few stabbing deaths now the news does a story on each fight.

What is this place coming to? Stabbings, fighting, almost daily occurence. Seems like only thing in news are car crashes and stabbings/fighting. Come on Hawaii, live Aloha...
