A "Glee" star got a taste of island life tonight at a special event in Kalihi.
Lauren Potter, also known as Becky Jackson on Glee, hung out with some of the kids at Keiki O Ka Aina Learning Center. She took lessons in hula and poi pounding, and even getting a taste of some local food.
In return, the Glee star gave some advice about show biz to the kids.
"Be yourself, and act the right thing. And also it is the wonderful opportunity for you guys to sing, dance, do whatever you want." said Potter.
This is Lauren's last night in the islands before heading back to LA to get ready for the next season of Glee.
