Television’s “Ghost Hunters" made their first trip to Hawaii to investigate reports of paranormal activity at Pearl Harbor.Their investigation centered on the Pacific Aviation Museum, which opened in '06 in a hangar that survived the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor.
People who work at the museum say several unexplained occurrences have taken place, especially at night.
“When I came out to the museum there was one person that was standing in the map area right around here. So I went up to him and I said ‘oh the museum's closed we're getting ready to shut the doors so you need to leave,” said Nicole Lundy, special events manager. "The following day we looked at the video cameras that we have here and you can see me talking to someone but nothing there, like someone talking to nobody."
The ghost hunters spent a night in the museum, encountering a strange flash of light and the sound of footsteps.
While the team says it was able to debunk some of the things they experienced, they were not able to find a source for the flash of light.
“Ghost Hunters” airs on the Syfy channel.
