Love was in the air as brides everywhere walked down the aisle to make October 10th, 2010 a date to remember.
For Lisa & Robert this day was a perfect ten.
The couple said "I do" on a day that only comes around once a century.
"A special number, easy to remember so I won't get in trouble in the future, haha," said newlywed Robert Mauracher. "We actually live in Canada so to come home and share this with family and friends is a blessing."
A beautiful backdrop for a beautiful bride and groom.
"Weddings in Hawaii is huge, I receive about eight to ten phone calls from destination weddings people wanting to have their weddings in Hawaii," said catering sale manager Raymond Donato.
The JW Mariott Ihilani Resort & Spa was booked 2 years out. So were just about every other hotel and chapel in the state.
"Today we have about eight weddings almost double the number just for this particular date," said Donato.
Ala Moana Beach Park was also the perfect place for a 10-10-10 wedding. Re'tasha and Kaleo tied the knot adding in an extra ten for good luck.
"Yeah 10-10-10 at 10 a.m. We were kinda thinking about 10-10-10 at 10:10, but that was kinda pushing it," said the newlyweds.
Francisca and Tom Salazar gathered their family to renew their vows and celebrate a birthday.
"It's her birthday plus 10-10-10 is a good luck," said the groom. "It's good luck, yeah good luck for me."
It's a day that has also meant good luck for wedding vendors and our local economy.
"Definitely a big boost for local businesses for our state, they've issued quite a few marriage licenses so that's more money into the economy," said Kalona Ortiz of A Rainbow in Paradise.
Wedding website theknot.com estimates more than 32,000 couples were scheduled to marry across the nation today.
