Maui Landmark Could Become a Guinness World Record

This is the surfing-board wall in Haiku, Maui.

Creator Donald Dettloff has been gathering boards of all kinds since the early 90's to construct the wall.

Yesterday... three witnesses and a notary public documented all the boards Dettloff has for submission to Guinness.

There are 446 boards in the wall... with an additional 146 in the entire collection... making 592 overall.

If confirmed.. the record would be for biggest collection of surfing-boards.
