On Saturday night two female Japanese students are said to have come home to this dorm with a man they just met at Ala Moana. But, once inside, he then refused to leave.

"He wouldn't leave until roommates of the two girls came back home and told him to leave and so at that point he did leave," said Gregg Takayama, U.H. Spkesperson.

Only then, was campus security notified. Too late, to catch the suspect. But his description, set off some red flags.

"Iit apparently is the same person who did this several years ago in 2004, there was a similar incident," said Takayama.

Paul Cox was given a trespassing citation for the '04 incident and warned not to return to campus. But, the violation only lasted one year.

In 2006, police believe he was also responsible for the disappearance of a Japanese student who went missing for three weeks before she was found unharmed.

"It's kinda scary cause there's no real control who comes in who comes out, it's like a main street on dole street so anyone can just come thru," said Kaikaina Kekua, U.H. student.

"You're in a college atmosphere you gotta make sure you lock your doors, close your window," said Dan Kelly, U.H. student.

Campus officials say, students on campus generally do feel safe, but Saturday's incident should be a wake-up call.

"The point is this can happen to anyone anytime. if it does happen to a student by all means they should contact campus security," said Takayama.

The University says more could have been done to catch the suspect if campus security was notified sooner.

Paul Cox is wanted for questioning by campus police. The University has put up flyers with his description asking anyone with information to come forward.
