Honolulu Police responded to an early morning crash in east Oahu on Friday.
The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. on Kalanianaole Highway near the Makapuu Lighthouse.
According to the Emergency Medical Services, the 23-year-old female driver hit a rock wall near the turn in the road. Paramedics transported the woman to the hospital in serious condition.
Kalanianaole Highway was closed while the emergency crews cleared the scene.
The highway reopened by 5 a.m.
