A Liliha woman is fighting for her life after getting hit by an SUV.
The 53-year-old woman identified by friends as Leslie Chan was hit around 8:30 p.m. Friday while crossing Liliha Street.
She was taken to the Queens Medical Center in critical condition.
"At this point we are not looking at speed or alcohol as factors - just visibility," Honolulu Police Department Lt. Bobby Towne said.
The woman was walking her two dogs when she was hit.
Both dogs died in the collision.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
A contracted security officer was rushed to the hospital after an accident involving a commercial truck.
