The ‘Aina Pono Harvest of the Month feeding and educating our keiki

Honolulu (KHON2) -  

The ‘Aina Pono Harvest of the Month program kicked off in December 2017 and was created to feature locally grown and locally sourced food for students. It is also a way to connect children to the ‘āina or land, teach them where their food comes from, and to encourage our students to eat healthier. 
We learned more about the program this morning and even put together this month’s dish which features ulu.
