St. Anthony graduate Shane Victorino was sent to a Boston area hospital this afternoon after crashing into the right field fence at Fenway Park during the Red Sox 12-4 loss to the Blue Jays.
"The Flyin' Hawaiian" raced to track Emilio Bonafacio's 2-run home run in the top of the 4th inning, hitting the short wall in right field at near full-speed.
Victorino stayed in the game for the following two innings before being sent to have his ribs examined in the 7th.
