A Kaimuki landmark is closing shop next month.
After 30 years, Toys N' Joys on Waialae Avenue is shutting its doors.
A sign explained the Le family would be closing the store on Sept. 23.
The store is known for selling a variety of toys, video games, and other products.
"Now they're kind of dwindling down into larger chains. It's like, 'Okay, well I've been to one of these.' Every Walmart looks the same, but you don't get the same feel from every Toys N' Joys in America," customer Mark Diaz said.
The Kaimuki store is currently having a big sale -- up to 75-percent off some items.
