Honolulu police officers were stationed outside Watanabe Floral Saturday, not because of a crime, but because of the large crowds picking up flowers for Mother's Day!
Monte Pereira of Watanabe Floral says Mother's Day sales are a close second behind Valentine's Day. He says the combination of college and high school graduations makes it even busier.
Other flower and chocolate shops are also busy this weekend with many customers picking up last minute gifts.

The first runner to cross the finish line of the 2013 Honolulu Marathon was Gilbert Chepkwony who finished in 2:18:47.
