A 15-year-old boy was rushed to the hospital on Monday after being hit by a pickup truck while crossing the street.
The incident happened at about 1:40 p.m. near the intersection of Salt Lake Boulevard and Puuloa Road.
According to the Honolulu Emergency Services Division, the teen was on a skateboard when he was struck by the truck.
He was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
About 40 students got sick and 25 of them, along with two adults, were taken to the hospital. Officials are now taking a look at what they ate for lunch.
