Suspect sought in First Hawaiian Bank robbery in Kaimuki

HONOLULU (KHON2) - CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are asking the public for help finding a bank robbery suspect.

It happened on Friday, March 9, at the First Hawaiian Bank branch in Kaimuki, located at 3599 Waialae Avenue.

At approximately 3:50 p.m., police say the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller, and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described to be in his 30s or 40s, and 6 feet tall with a husky build. He was wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, blue jeans, a gray beanie, sunglasses, and a white surgical mask.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
