A Schofield woman apparently drowned at Papailoa Beach in Haleiwa on Monday, according to the Honolulu Emergency Services Department.
The incident happened at about 1:45 p.m.
Officials say the 45-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
There is no lifeguard at that beach.
