Power has been restored to all customers at 5:12 p.m. after a car hit a power pole on Dillingham Boulevard near Alakawa Street in Kalihi.
According to police, it was reported as a hit and run.
The incident happened just after 2 p.m. Sunday.
Police have closed Dillingham Boulevard between Kaaahi Street and Akepo Lane while Hawaiian Electric Company crews repaired the damaged poled.
Crews completed the repairs and all lanes reopened just before 2 a.m. Monday.
At least 40 students got sick and 27 of them were taken to the hospital. Officials are now taking a look at what the kids ate for lunch.
