Honolulu police have reopened the portion of Pensacola Street by McKinley High School after a gas leak Tuesday night.
According to Honolulu Fire Department officials, the leak was on school property and came from a Hawaii Gas line.
Police closed Pensacola between Rycroft and Elm Streets from 7:45 p.m. to 10:45 p.m.
Fire officials say the Gas Company will have to excavate the underground line in order to repair it.
It is unknown how long the repairs will take.
No injuries were reported.
