Police seek driver in Kahala hit-and-run that injured moped rider

CrimeStoppers and the Honolulu Police Department are seeking the public's assistance in locating the driver involved in a hit-and-run in Kahala.

On April 14, at approximately 8:19 p.m., police said a red Honda CRV was traveling south on Kilauea Avenue.

The driver of the Honda executed a left turn in front of a moped, causing the moped to broadside it then continued on to Pueo Street.

The driver of the moped suffered head and internal injuries and was taken to the hospital.

CrimeStoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.
