A 60-year-old local male is dead following a single vehicle crash in Kunia.
The crash happened at about 9:45 a.m. Monday on Kunia Road near Anonui Street.
Honolulu Police say the man was heading north in a red Ford Ranger truck when he crossed into oncoming traffic, veered back into opposite direction, struck a fence, and flipped over.
Paramedics rushed the man to the Pali Momi Medical Center in extremely critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating if the man suffered a medical condition.
The victim's identity has not been released at this time.
Police say speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
This is the 23rd traffic fatality on Oahu in 2013, compared to 21 at the same time last year.
