Big Island police have closed a portion of North Glenwood Road while they investigate a deadly crash.
KHON2 has learned that two people were killed in the crash when the car they were in struck a utility pole Wednesday afternoon.
"A car upside down, the tires were still spinning. There was smoke coming out," neighbor Alyssa Olivar said. "Me and my cousin go and run and call the ambulance and nobody was responding when we went there."
