Maui police say two men confessed to breaking into a home and leading officers on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle.
Travis Carvalho and Casey Ogawa allegedly broke into a home in Kahakuloa Wednesday and took $10,000 worth of items.
Officers saw them driving in a stolen car but the suspects drove off and the police lost them.
They were eventually located and arrested and a third man was also arrested for keeping them at his house.
Thousands gathered at the memorial to pay tribute to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and to those who survived.
