The U.S. Geological Survey reported a 6.7-magnitude earthquake off the south-southeast cost of Panama.
The earthquake was reported at 5:43 a.m. (HST) Tuesday.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center says based on all available data, a destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat for Hawaii.
