A Waimanalo musician was sentenced in federal court on Tuesday for smuggling more than 20 pounds of marijuana from San Francisco to Honolulu.
Brian Kusko was found guilty of smuggling the marijuana in a set of three drums on a Hawaiian Airlines flight in October 2012.
He was sentenced to serve three months of prison, three months of home incarceration, and three years of supervised release.
He was fined $20,000.
