Honolulu police have reopened the Likelike Highway after a fatal motorcycle crash Sunday morning.
The accident happened just after 4:00 a.m. on the Likelike Highway Kaneohe-bound before the Wilson tunnel.
Police say the 28-year-old man from Kaneohe was headed northbound on the Likelike Highway when he lost control of his bike and collided into a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Speed was a factor in the crash. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were factors.
The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet.
Police closed the highway while they investigated the accident.
