Two lanes of the H-1 Freeway in Pearl City will be closed for part of Tuesday.
According to the state Department of Transportation, two left lanes will be closed in the eastbound direction between the Waiawa Road overpass and the Pearl Ridge/Waimalu off-ramp from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Crews will be performing viaduct deck repairs.
It's the same type of work that's been happening in the westbound direction of the H-1 Freeway for weeks.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the work area and to allow for extra travel time.
Road work is weather permitting.
About 40 students got sick and 25 of them, along with two adults, were taken to the hospital. Officials are now taking a look at what they ate for lunch.
