A 27-year-old hiker is in critical condition after sustaining a head injury from a possible fall at the Makapuu TomTom Trail.
The incident was reported at about 12:15 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the Honolulu Fire Department, other hikers discovered the victim 75 feet below the ridge.
The victim was not moving, but he was conscious and breathing when firefighters reached him.
An HFD helicopter airlifted the victim from the trail to a landing zone across from Sea Life Park.
Paramedics then transported him to an area hospital.
