KHON2 anchor Joe Moore is one of the stars in a play he co-wrote called "Heaven Forbid."
His co-star is Anna Pearce, but you may know her better as Patty Duke.
The play centers on two senior citizens at a retirement home. Moore plays a happy-go-lucky guy just glad to keep hanging around.
Patty Duke plays a more cynical counterpart, but the two of them engage in banter that will have older audience members thinking, and younger ones wondering.
The play is a fundraiser for Hawaii Theatre, it opens Thursday night and runs through the next two weekends.
