"On March 16, 2012 officers conducted an operation on Wilikina Drive due to numerous complaints about vehicles being broken into in a certain parking lot. They parked a rented vehicle. A Dodge charger. Officers observed a male walk up to the charger, enter, search and remove several items. they stopped him and recovered the items from his jacket," Honolulu Police Sergeant, Kim Buffett said.
Galaufi Opetaia was arrested for breaking into a car and for having drugs and drug paraphernalia.
He's now wanted on a $20,000 warrant for not following the terms of Hope probation.
Opetaia is 32 years old, 5-foot-7, 170 pounds.
"He has 5 prior convictions and has no local address," Sgt. Buffett.
