An Oahu teenager is dead following a skateboarding accident in Hawaii Kai.
The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on Kalanipuu Street.
The Medical Examiner's office identifies him as Reid Krucky of Hawaii Kai.
Police say Krucky had grabbed onto a friend's moped while skateboarding, lost his balance, fell, and hit his head on the ground.
He was not wearing a helmet.
Krucky was rushed to the Queen's Medical Center in critical condition, where he later died.
Police say they are not looking at bringing charges against the moped driver.
UPDATE: One person is dead following a plane crash in waters off Kalaupapa, Molokai, according to Maui Fire Department officials.
