The former principal of August Ahrens Elementary School in Waipahu has pleaded not guilty to tampering with government records.
Florentina Smith, 69, was not in court Monday, but entered a plea through her attorney.
According to court documents, the crimes took place in Nov. 2011.
Her arrest came after a year-long investigation by the Department of Education.
Trial is set for Sept. 23.
