Shoppers were joined by butterflies today at Pearlridge Center. All part of a summer exhibit called 'Flutter: A Green Experience.'
There's a butterfly pavilion along with educational workshops.
A butterfly farmer hopes that the exhibit will teach people how they can help the local butterfly population.
"Well basically what we're trying to do is get people to grow crown flower, because crown flower is the monarch butterfly's only resource," said Dancetta Feary.
"I just wanted to look at the butterflies and see them and one was actually on my leg and on my head and I was super happy," said an excited Alexa Green.

The first runner to cross the finish line of the 2013 Honolulu Marathon was Gilbert Chepkwony who finished in 2:18:47.
Dry weather conditions made for a great day as thousands of runners participated in the 41st Annual Honolulu Marathon. Those who ran inspired others to participate next year-- while those who cheered from the sidelines helped motivate them to keep running.
It's the holiday season and that means parties, fun and for some, drinking. However, police are on the lookout for drunk drivers. One family offered a reminder on Sunday, why it's important to not drink and drive.
