Honolulu firefighters put out a dumpster fire in Waikiki Tuesday morning.
The fire broke out just after 6 a.m. at the Queen Kapiolani Hotel on Kapahulu Avenue.
According to Honolulu Fire Department Capt. Terry Seelig, the trash bin was against the building and there was minimal damage to the paint of the exterior of the building.
The HFD did not evacuate the building.
One hotel employee did complain of smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
